![]() Logo DesignRecently, the Chicagoland Puppetry Guild held a contest for a new logo. I of course had to enter something and this was chosen as the winning entry! It was presented in both black and white and color. For a description of the logo, click on the color version. | ![]() CPG - Color LogoThis design shows the "puppeteer" practicing the art of puppetry. With a marionette in one hand and a hand puppet on the other, "he" performs in front of the Chicago skyline. "He" is also sporting the colors found on the Chicago flag. The iconic masks of the theater are placed at the bottom. This was presented to the selection committee in several applications. |

![]() Logo Reconstruction ProjectThis was used as part of a demonstration project. The purpose of the assignment was to use Illustrator to re-crete an existing logo. | ![]() Logo Reconstruction ProjectThis is the finished reconstructed logo. |
![]() Original Logo Design - DemonstrationThe purpose of this assignment was to create a logo for a fictitious company. This particular company is a classical and fine arts radio station. This is the outline version of the logo. | ![]() Original Logo Design - DemonstrationThis is the same logo with the colors added. |
![]() Original Logo Design - DemonstrationThe final logo with the call letters. | ![]() Logo.jpgThe components of this design may look familiar to many printers. The circles represent the colors used in the printing process - cyan, magenta, and yellow - with the black outline representing the fourth color. It's also tilted to lend interest. The tag line "Color outside the lines" is demonstrated with the gray "scribble" in the background and obviously going well outside the border lines. |
